This Privacy Policy describes how ExperShip and its affiliates, including operational partners such as YouParcel (collectively, “ExperShip,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our websites, applications, dashboards, APIs, freight services, tracking portals, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed in connection with our Services. Depending on the context, ExperShip may act as a data controller, business, service provider, or processor. When you use our Services to ship goods to your customers, you generally act as the data controller for your end-customer data, and ExperShip processes that data on your behalf to provide shipping, freight, and related services.
We collect information you provide directly, including account registration details such as name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, company registration details, tax identification numbers, and payment information. We also collect shipment-related information such as sender and recipient names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, package details, commercial invoices, customs documentation, product descriptions, and declared values.
Payment information is processed by third-party payment processors. We may receive limited information such as transaction status, partial card details, billing name, and fraud signals. We do not store full payment card numbers unless expressly required and secured in accordance with applicable standards.
We automatically collect certain information when you use the Services, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, usage data, API activity logs, timestamps, and interaction data. We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to collect this information.
We may receive information from Carriers, Freight Providers, customs authorities, identity verification providers, fraud detection services, analytics providers, and marketing partners. This may include tracking updates, delivery confirmation, compliance results, and risk or fraud indicators.
We use personal information to provide, operate, and improve the Services. This includes creating shipping labels, coordinating freight, transmitting data to Carriers and customs authorities, generating manifests, tracking Shipments, processing payments, providing customer support, and communicating service updates.
We also use information to detect and prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, manage risk, conduct analytics, improve system performance, develop new features, and maintain platform security.
Where applicable under data protection laws, we process personal information based on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and improving our Services, and consent where required. Our legitimate interests include fraud prevention, service optimization, network security, and compliance with shipping and customs regulations.
We share personal information as necessary to provide the Services. This includes sharing with Carriers, Freight Providers, customs authorities, brokers, warehouse partners, fulfillment partners, payment processors, identity verification providers, fraud detection services, IT and hosting providers, and analytics providers.
We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or government authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, users, partners, or the public.

Because we operate internationally and coordinate cross-border shipments, personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which it was originally collected. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
