Void label

Canceling an unused shipping label so it is not charged, or so its postage can be refunded.

Voiding a label cancels a shipment that was created but will not be sent, for example because of a wrong address or a canceled order. Depending on the carrier, an account-billed label is simply not charged, or a prepaid label is refunded after a review period.

Carriers set time windows for voids and refunds, and a label that has been scanned cannot be voided. Reprinting or creating a second label instead of voiding the first is a common cause of double charges.
