Parcel

A small package that one person can handle, shipped through carrier networks designed for individual packages rather than pallets.

In logistics, a parcel (or small package) is an individually handled package within carrier size and weight limits, moved through the sortation networks of carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL Express.

Shipments that exceed parcel limits, or that are palletized, move as freight instead, typically LTL or full truckload. Most ecommerce orders ship as parcels.
