Manifest

A list of all shipments handed to a carrier in one pickup or day, transmitted electronically or printed for the driver.

A manifest is a summary of the shipments a shipper tenders to a carrier, typically at the end of the day. It lists each package's tracking number and service, and it tells the carrier what to expect at pickup or drop-off.

Some carriers receive shipment data automatically as labels are created, while others require the shipper to close out and transmit a manifest. For USPS, the equivalent is a SCAN form. In freight, a manifest is the list of cargo on a vessel, aircraft or truck.
