FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon)

Amazon's program where sellers send inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers and Amazon stores, ships and handles returns.

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a service in which sellers ship inventory to Amazon's fulfillment centers. Amazon then stores the products, picks and packs orders, ships them to customers, and handles customer service and returns for those orders.

FBA products are generally eligible for Prime shipping badges. Sellers pay fulfillment and storage fees and must follow Amazon's rules for preparing, labeling and shipping inventory into its network, which is a freight or parcel shipment in its own right.

Many sellers combine FBA with merchant-fulfilled orders, shipping from their own warehouse or a 3PL.
